Julien Signès
President, CEO, Founder

Julien Signès is the President, CEO, and Founder of Envivio. He has been driving the strategy and execution of the company to take it from pre-revenue technology to the fastest growing company in the Digital Media technology space. Prior to Envivio, Julien was with France Telecom and Orange in Rennes, France, and San Francisco, focusing on new multimedia services and MPEG-4 technology and strategy. He actively participated in the ISO standardization process to develop the MPEG-4 standard. He has been awarded 7 patents linked to his standardization work, and received distinctions from ISO and SPIE. Julien graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Telecom, Paris, in Software and Electrical Engineering.

John McAdoo
Chief Financial Officer

John McAdoo brings over 20 years of financial management experience to his recent appointment as CFO at Envivio. Prior to joining Envivio, John spent 8 years at ARM Holdings plc. in a number of roles including Group Financial Controller and VP Finance & Administration. During his time at ARM the company's headcount grew by a factor of 6, helped significantly by John's leading role in the US$900m acquisition and subsequent integration of Artiscan Components Inc. Before ARM Holdings plc, John worked for Novartis AG in various Finance positions around Europe, and started his career with Deloitte where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, joining the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. John holds a joint honors degree in Economics & Accounting from Manchester University.

Richard Stanfield
Chief Operating Officer

Richard Stanfield has over 20 years of sales, marketing and field operations experience with five successful back to back technology start-up companies in the communications and digital media sectors. Prior to Envivio, Richard held the position of EVP Field Operations for Modulus Video, resulting in the sale of the company to Motorola in 2007. Before that, Richard was Co-Founder and EVP Field Operations of Turin Networks, a Sequoia Capital funded, multi-service Ethernet switching platform that was sold to major service providers around the world. Richard was VP of Sales and an executive officer for AFC, resulting in a highly successful IPO in 1996. In addition, Richard held executive positions with two other successful companies: Status Computer and DSC Communications. Richard holds a B.S. degree from Texas A&M University.

Jean Pierre Henot
Chief Technology Officer

Jean-Pierre Henot brings over 20 years of experience in video compression and digital video transmission to his role as CTO at Envivio. Prior to joining the company, Jean-Pierre worked for 5 years at Thomson / GrassValley, where as VP Engineering he was responsible for developed a range of MPEG-2 / MPEG-4 blade encoders that have been successfully deployed by major broadcasters worldwide. Before Thomson, Jean-Pierre held a VP Marketing position at Wandel & Goltermann where he launched a digital TV test and monitoring product range. He began his career as research engineer with France Telecom where he was one of the initial members of the MPEG-2 standard committee, and subsequently managed early European video compression and digital terrestrial broadcast deployments. Jean-Pierre has been an active member of numerous ISO, ITU and DVB standardization bodies and holds several patents in video compression and transmission.

Yuval Fisher (PhD)
Chief Scientist, Founder

As a recognized leading in his field, Yuval Fisher brings more than 20 years experience in multimedia technology implementation to Envivio in his role as Chief Scientist. One of founders of the Envivio, Yuval is responsible for conceiving, advocating, and planning major research and development activities within the company. Currently on the Management Team of the Internet Streaming Media Alliance (ISMA), he was one of the lead editors of the MPEG-4 Systems specifications. He has also been a chair of the MPEG-4 Conformance Group and Advanced Text and 2D Graphics Group. Prior to Envivio, he worked on several MPEG-4 implementations for participating MPEG-4 companies including Rockwell International, Conexant, and France Telecom. Yuval has degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Cornell University.

Eric Rosier
Vice President, Engineering

Eric is responsible for driving all Envivio Product development efforts. Prior to that, Eric was responsible for driving Harmonic's market presence and solution innovation. Mr. Rosier has more than 16 years of technical and commercial experience in the Television and IT marketplace. Prior to joining Harmonic, he worked as a Platform Marketing Manager at Canal+ Technologies, in charge of MediaHighway and MediaGuard products. Previously, he headed up product and development teams at Thomson and Thales.

Rudi Polednik
Vice President, Marketing & Global Alliances

Rudi Polednik brings more than 17 years' experience selling and marketing digital compression and networking products to the broadcast and telecommunications industries. As VP Marketing & Global Alliances, Rudi is responsible for Envivio's Corporate Marketing activities, as well as managing relationships with the company's impressive range of global channel partners. In his previous role as VP Worldwide Sales at Envivio, Rudi established the company's global sales structure, growing sales by 4 fold in a 3 year period. Prior to Envivio he headed European sales & operations for MPEG-2 video compression manufacturer Tiernan Communications. Before joining Tiernan, Rudi sold compression and networking solutions for satellite communications specialist ComStream Corporation, and began his career as a sales engineer with BT in London. Rudi holds a B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College, London.

Boris Felts
Vice President, Product Marketing

Boris Felts brings a level of maturity and experience beyond his years to his role as VP Product Marketing at Envivio. In this role, Boris helps determine Envivio's target market focus, and is responsible for defining and delivering the company's range of widely acclaimed compression products. Universally recognized as an expert in mobile TV, Boris created the world's first encoding products developed specifically for this market. Under Boris's guidance, Envivio created the world's first convergence headend, based around a single encoder capable of encoding content for the Three Screens. Prior to Envivio, Boris was a researcher in the Philips Laboratories in Paris, where he worked on Wavelet-based video compression and context-adaptive arithmetic coding. He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in France and after focusing on telecommunication engineering received a second degree from Telecom Paris.

Albert Liong
General Manager and Vice President, Sales - Asia Pacific

Albert Liong brings more than 18 years' experience in executive management and finance to his role as GM and VP Sales for the Asia Pacific region. Since joining Envivio, Albert has been instrumental in setting up extremely effective commercial operations in Asia Pacific which have helped the company become the fastest growing compression vendor in key regional markets such as China. In his previous role as CFO at Envivio, Albert had global responsibility for finance and accounting, human resources, legal, facilities, G&A and operations functions. Prior to Envivio, Albert was Senior Vice President of Finance for ClickAction Inc., a publicly traded email marketing company, where he directed finance and accounting, including SEC reporting and filings, and was instrumental in the sale of the company to infoUSA, Inc. Previously, he held senior financial manager roles at XMarksthespot and Norcal Waste Systems Inc. Albert holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from San Francisco State University and is also a CPA certificate holder.

Steve Wallbank,
Vice President, Sales - EMEA

Steve Wallbank brings more than 20 years of high technology sales and sales management experience to Envivio where he now heads up sales operations for the EMEA region. Prior to joining Envivio, Steve was a Sales Director at Tandberg Television, leading a team of Sales Managers selling into Western Europe. Steve joined Tandberg when it acquired SkyStream Networks, were he was General Manager EMEA. Steve's time at SkyStream was extremely successful, and during a 5 year period he grew the annual revenues by four fold and established the company as a market leader in IPTV. Prior to SkyStream Steve held senior Sales Management positions at Portal Software and previously LHS, two software billing companies serving the telecommunications market. Steve started his career at Hewlett Packard, where he spent 11 years in sales to the telecommunications market. Steve holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Bath.

Jodi Benassi
Vice President, Sales - Americas

Jodi Benassi brings more than 13 years of sales experience in the video compression, IPTV, and Wireless markets to Envivio where she now heads up sales operations in North and Latin America. Prior to joining Envivio, Jodi most recently served as VP of Strategic Accounts at FD where she established the company in the European market. Prior to that, she held sales management positions at Sigma Designs, Minerva Networks, and Netcentrex. Jodi holds a BS degree in International Business from San Jose State University.

Peter Giordano
Vice President, Manufacturing

Peter Giordano brings more than 20 years manufacturing and operations experience to Envivio in his role as VP Manufacturing. Prior to joining the company, Peter was Director of Operations at Aloha Networks, a satellite internet equipment manufacturer. Before joining Aloha, Peter held various management positions for both large corporations and start-up companies in the telecommunications and semiconductor industries, including Mahi Networks, Nokia Network systems, Photocircuits, and IBM. Peter holds BS and MSE degrees in Mechanical Engineering, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Ian Locke
Vice President, Global Communications

Ian Locke brings more than 17 years' experience developing and marketing digital video technology to his role as VP Global Communications at Envivio. Ian is responsible for creating and communicating the Envivio corporate and product messaging, and uses his enthusiastic presentation style to evangelize to key customers, analysts and at industry events. In an earlier role at Envivio, Ian worked in product marketing and developed the company's product offering for its IPTV solution. Prior to Envivio, Ian was the Director of Market Development for Minerva Networks where he developed the iTVManager IPTV middleware and the Impression DVD authoring software. Before moving to the US he built Axon Technology Pty. Ltd. a successful video technology distribution business in Australia. Ian holds a B.Sc. in Anatomy and Histology from the University of Sydney.
