Envivio and Intel Announce Technology Collaboration
Envivio and Intel Optimize the Use of the new Intel® Xeon® Processor 5100 Series for Envivio® SD Encoding Systems Santa Clara, Ca and South San Francisco, CA – September 8, 2006 – Envivio Inc., the leading provider of MPEG-4 based video encoding systems and Intel Corporation, the world's largest chip maker, announced a technology collaboration. Envivio and Intel will collaborate to optimize the leading performance of the Intel® Xeon® Processor 5100 Series with Envivio® standard definition (SD) video encoders in order to benefit from the latest technological improvements such as Multi Core Technology. This collaboration will accelerate the adoption of Intel technologies by Envivio for its leading 4Caster™ B3 flagship encoding system.

As a result of this collaboration, both companies will put together worldwide technical and marketing efforts in order to identify and share customer requirements and test new state-of-the art MPEG-4 based video encoding systems with the latest Intel hardware platforms. In addition, the two companies will strengthen their marketing activities through webinars and events intended to address customer requirements. This collaboration will enable Envivio customers to reap the benefits of this collaboration which creates the highest performing MPEG-4 based SD encoding system containing innovative Intel silicon technologies.
