Envivio Showcases Pre-integrated, Interoperable DVB-H Solution in the Mobile Zone at IBC2006 South San Francisco, CA - September 6, 2006 – Envivio Inc. is showcasing a pre-integrated, interoperable DVB-H solution in the Mobile Zone at IBC2006 stand #M323/M324.Part of a complete DVB-H ecosystem, the solution features the 4Caster™ M2, the world’s first and only multi-rate, multi-resolution and multi-standard encoder that outputs up to eight simultaneous profiles with live bit rate switching from a single video input.The M2 is integrated with systems from Enensys Technologies and Expway.
The joint demonstration in the Mobile Zone showcases a complete DVB-H transmission chain. DVB-H signaling is managed through the Expway electronic service guide (ESG) server, MPEG-4 encoding is provided by the Envivio® 4Caster M2, and DVB-H analysis, encapsulation, modulation and amplification is handled by systems from Enensys.The pre-integrated, interoperable solution allows operators to rapidly deploy broadcast mobile TV services.
