SecureMedia’s Encryptonite System™ Now Integrated With Envivio’s MPEG-4 Content Creation and Distribution Solution
Natick, MA – January 21, 2003 – Envivio, a leading provider of MPEG-4 broadcast and streaming solutions, and SecureMedia, Inc., a leading provider of encryption and digital rights management (DRM) solutions, announced today that the two companies have entered into a partnership agreement to provide a secure MPEG-4 distribution solution for the emerging video-on-demand (VOD) over IP market. Under the partnership, SecureMedia’s Encryptonite System content encryption and digital rights management system has been integrated with Envivio’s MPEG-4 content creation and distribution platform.
The combined Envivio-SecureMedia solution offers VOD service providers the most advanced, high quality, interactive media delivery capabilities while ensuring persistent protection of media assets from the production stage to the point of playback in consumer homes.
