InVision Broadcasts Autism Conference to a Global Audience

TYSONS CORNER, VIRGINIA, June 13, 2006 – Utilizing an Envivio 4Caster™ Broadcast Series H.264 encoder, the InVision Network successfully piloted the Web-based broadcast of the Infancy & Early Childhood Training Course, taught by Dr. Stanley Greenspan. Dr. Greenspan is an internationally recognized leader in developmental and learning disorders such as autism. A pre-selected audience of clinicians, educators and parents in Houston, New York, Baltimore, Rochester and Dubai viewed the conference via the secure InVision beta Website. In addition, the entire conference was archived for future education and training purposes.

The successful broadcast accelerates InVision's work in partnership with Dr. Greenspan and the Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disorders (ICDL) to advance innovative approaches to treating children with autism and related disorders through Web-based training, professional development, consultation and intervention. One Baltimore-based clinician remarked, "The experience of viewing the presentations through the InVision Network was comparable to being at the conference. The quality of the broadcast was remarkably clear."

"InVision's successes in this sphere speak of the significant potential of its innovative Web platform," said David Raphael, InVision's CEO. "In addition to providing tools that are advancing efforts to treat children with developmental and learning challenges, the InVision Network's Web platforms and services appeal to a broad array of users who will benefit from its easy to use interface and affordable approaches to real-time Web-based communications and collaboration."

"Broadcasting this event marks a key milestone for InVision leveraging our industry leading encoding technology into new market segments that benefit by being able to broadcast real-time events over the Internet," said Alain Fernando-Santana, CMO at Envivio Inc. "The ability to broadcast and archive simultaneously allows many more people to benefit from the important work being done by InVision."
