With the 4Caster B30, Envivio draws on its MPEG-4 expertise to offer a best-in-class solution addressing video contribution over IP networks such as VSAT or MPLS. Benefiting from the latest improvements in Envivio Extreme Compression technology, the 4Caster B30 enables efficient compression at low bit rates, achieving an unmatched level of quality for demanding IP contribution and primary distribution applications.

The 4Caster B30 offers an Ultra Low Delay mode particularly suitable for applications such as live interviews, sports broadcasting or surveillance where low latency is crucial.

The 4Caster B30 supports Pure IP transport output which increases bandwidth efficiency on MPLS based networks where Quality of Service is managed using the Resource Reservation Protocol. MPEG-2 TS transport on DVB-ASI interfaces are also available as an option for compatibility with legacy equipment.
